Job Summary

Responsible for driving, maintaining, and staging Communitys branded fleet of vehicles for sales and outreach opportunities. Responsible for daily office maintenance duties, including replacement of lightning, minor electrical repairs, cubicle, or workstation set-up; making daily mail runs to the district office (Fournace Place) and other locations as needed. Will oversee the organization of the onsite and offsite storage facilities and its content. Will also assist in Mailroom and Documents Imaging activities as needed

JOB SPECIFICATIONS 

  • Responsible for driving, maintaining, and staging Communitys branded caravan and two other vehicles for sales and outreach opportunities. Assists in employee moves, including moving boxes, tearing down, and rebuilding cubicles, moving desks, and furniture.  Assembles new furniture/desks, tables, storage shelves, etc. as needed. Oversees the organization of the storage facilities onsite and offsite, including keeping an inventory of all items such as office furniture, cubicle components, and other supplies being stored. Delivers items to departments as needed. Perform minor repairs to office furniture, cubicle components, office doors and lock assemblies. Mount bulletin boards, paintings, plaques etc. on office walls for management upon request.
  • Ensuring that the Office environment is organized and kept in a neat orderly fashion and free from hazards. Keeps in close contact with Office Services Director regarding facilities problems/issues.
  • Makes deliveries to Holly Hall and other local locations for deliveries/pickups as needed. Responsible for ensuring Community Health Choices company vans are serviced at Harris Health Systems auto service center for general maintenance and annual Texas vehicle registration and inspection.
  • Serves as back-up to Office Services Director in his absence. Assist and facilitate on-site business visits by various vendors, contractors, and couriers. Works with Building Management to identify and resolve office issues.
  • Actively contributes to achievement of departmental goals, as identified in Departments annual business plan, including specific departmental process improvement plans, and other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Must have a valid Texas Drivers License and current vehicle insurance required.
  • Work Experience (Years and Area): Four years general labor/maintenance, i.e., minor home repairs, electrical, door locks, painting, etc. Good driving record.
  • Software Proficiencies: Personal car for scheduled deliveries and/or pickups.
