JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Audio Visual Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior AV Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting advanced audio visual systems that meet our employees' needs across various scenarios, including corporate environments, Learning & Development, healthcare, and more. Your expertise will ensure the seamless integration of audio visual technologies to enhance communication, collaboration, and productivity

JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND CORE COMPETENCIES
Design and Engineering:

  • Design and engineer complex audio-visual systems including conference rooms, boardrooms, collaboration rooms, and digital signage solutions.
  • Implementation and Installation:
  • Lead the implementation and installation of AV systems, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
     

Collaboration ans Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate closely with project managers, employees, and stakeholders to understand requirements, provide technical recommendations, and deliver solutions that exceed expectations.

Site Surveys and Assessments:

  • Conduct site surveys and assessments to evaluate existing AV infrastructure and determine upgrade paths or system expansions.

Mentorship and Training:

  • Mentor a team of Service Desk technicians and future junior engineers, providing technical guidance, training, and support.

Troubleshooting and Diagnostics:

  • Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and resolution of AV system issues to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.

Documentation and Procedures:

  • Develop comprehensive documentation including system designs, schematics, user guides, and maintenance procedures.

Industry Trends and Innovation:

  • Keep abreast of emerging audiovisual technologies, trends, and industry developments to recommend innovative solutions.

Other Duties as Assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Specialized Training/Licensure:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) required.
  • Industry certifications such as CTS-D, CTS-I, or similar are highly desirable preferred.


Work Experience (Years and Area):

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience designing and deploying audio visual systems, with a focus on integration and installation.
  • In-depth knowledge of audio visual equipment, control systems, video conferencing solutions, digital signal processing, and networking protocols.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver results within budget.


Software Proficiencies:

  • Proficiency with industry-leading AV software and tools (e.g., Crestron, Extron, Biamp, DSP, QSC, Q-SYS).
